King of Prussia, PA, March 5, 1997 -- PTS Learning Systems, the leader in the training software and support industry, has announced a strategic alliance with Vanstar Corporation. Under the terms of the agreement, Vanstar will use PTS Learning Systems training materials in its instructor-led classrooms. In addition, Vanstar will resell the PTS Integrated Learning Solution as a critical component of its educational offerings throughout North America.

The Integrated Learning Solution is composed of a comprehensive suite of learning products, engineered from their inception to work together. The Integrated Learning Solution combines customizable instructor-led training curriculum, desktop learning tools with On-Demand Interactive Learning, Customizable Computer Based Training (CBT), and Skills Assessment into an integrated, customizable and networkable solution.

The foundation of the Integrated Learning Solution is PTS' training content. PTS develops its training content once, subjecting it to rigorous quality assurance. The content is then exported into various performance delivery tools such as instructor-led training, CBT, skills assessments, and On-Demand Interactive Learning. As a result, users can create standard or customized instructor-led courseware, skills assessment programs and CBT courses that flow identically, based on identical topics. This consistency provides critical learning reinforcement.
